WEBSITE PRIVACY

Privacy notice

This notice describes how the Color and Chaos website handles form submissions and website analytics.

Email updates

When you join the list, we store your email address, signup source, consent and the date you signed up so Color and Chaos can send product news, artwork, and updates about what we’re making. We send a confirmation email before adding you to our newsletter list. Signup is intended for people aged 16 or older. We do not sell the signup list.

Contact messages

We store the name, email address and message you submit so Color and Chaos can review and respond to your message. Messages are also delivered to our business Gmail inbox. Please do not include payment details or other sensitive information. A parent or guardian can send a message on a child’s behalf.

Storage and website operation

Forms are stored in a database provided by our website hosting service. Access is restricted to the site owner through the hosting tools. We use Brevo to send confirmation emails, manage newsletter subscriptions and deliver contact notifications. Brevo processes email addresses, delivery and subscription events, and the contact details needed to deliver these messages. We keep form delivery records to diagnose failures and prevent repeated submissions. The site uses short-lived, hashed request identifiers to limit automated form submissions. The hosting service may process technical request data to deliver and secure the website.

Private review access may use hosting-service sign-in cookies.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, referring websites and how quickly pages load. It does not use analytics cookies or track people across websites. We do not add advertising trackers. Learn more about Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time, or use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. To request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, contact Color and Chaos using the same email address. Unsubscribed addresses are retained with their unsubscribed status to help prevent future mailings, unless deletion is requested.

Calendar orders

Calendar checkout is handled by Stripe, which collects payment, email and shipping details. Color and Chaos uses order details to arrange printing and delivery through Prodigi and to respond to order questions. Payment details are entered on Stripe, not in this website’s forms.

Marketplace links

Book purchases happen on the linked marketplace. Its own privacy notice and order policies apply when you leave this website.
